Postgraduates Studies

  In my family we have always been talking about the post degree, my older sister has almost finished her degree, so she is already looking for possibilities to continue studying.... My father only needs the accreditation of the post degree, since it was given in Australia and he could not travel. As for me, I am not thinking so much in a post degree but rather in a second career or a secondary study, since in my plans I am not planning to work as an architect. A postgraduate degree is a complementary and specific study of an area of interest, many people prefer to do it already practicing, because they are quite expensive, however those who are given the opportunity prefer to continue studying, immediately after graduating. It is a plus that is given to you as a professional person and opens up many new opportunities. Academic Challenges 2021

 The last two years have been totally different from what we knew as life and with that have come new challenges, whether personal like living together again or academic like the cyber-university. For me the fact of studying from home has not been a problem, but the anxiety that comes from being in front of a computer and not face to face with fluid communication. One of my biggest obstacles has been to ask questions during classes... i am already shy and it has always been difficult for me, but in this modality, having to ask questions to a screen, without knowing if they are listening to you. Then comes the issue of space for classes, which has not been respected during these two years, so my learning has been very fragmented.  What I enjoyed the most about this situation was waking up 10 minutes before class and not having to get on the subway during rush hour, but what I liked the least was the interaction with my classmates, which was almost null... which makes me think t...

My dream job

  Throughout my life I have had different dream jobs, when I was very little, like at 6 years old, I wanted to be a nurse, I bought many kits of that, because I really loved it, but over time I passed, and the area of health was completely discarded. Then I went through many jobs, astronaut, veterinarian, I was also intrigued to be a flight attendant, and so on... until I got to what really fills me and I love, fashion. In the beginning I wanted to be a dressmaker, fix old clothes to give them new uses and things like that, then I raised my aspirations I wanted to be a fashion designer and end up on red carpets ... with my friends we always talk about it and they will be the celebrities who wear the "Katina Zaro" . The Role of Technology in my Profession and Life

  As it is known, technology took a mega important place, it gained the protagonist of the new normality, and with that the advance was much greater. As a student at the cyber university, it has been much more difficult to adapt and learning in my opinion has been difficult... you just must get used to it. My favorite piece of technology is the iPad, I like it a lot because it is very portable like a cell phone, but with the screen of a computer, the most important accessory is the pencil that serves me to use it to develop my classes replacing the notebook or when I study it serves me as a support. Also, when I'm working on the computer, I can put it to the side and watch series or movies. Or the same recorded classes hahaha. The Best Concert/Holiday Ever...

  Summer after summer, since my dad was a kid, my grandparents go camping at an almost private beach for us hahahah this beach is called Caleta Del Medio and is north of Copiapo but south of Bahia Inglesa.  In the beginning my great-uncles and their children went there, including my dad's family (my grandparents and him), then it went on for generations and now this is almost a tradition, every February we load a truck and go to the beach to set up camp. The most important days are the assembly and disassembly, where the largest number of people arrive, all help is useful. We have a communal lunch on a giant table and then we start or end the summer. Lately the camp is being renewed and cousins and uncles and aunts and uncles, the youngest members of the family, go to spend the whole month there. It's super fun, with my cousins we play cards, dominoes, chess, we bathe for hours and we play a lot of ball games, sometimes we even do gymkhanas. It is too special for me, I love Co...

A country/place I would love visiting

    A place I have always wanted to visit is Scotland. I have to admit that I have already been there and I fell in love but I would love to go again, with more time and to visit much more of the country. When I was a little girl in English classes at school they made us learn a hymn and I learned about this beautiful country and started a slight obsession with its landscapes and culture. I would like to go because it has great history, especially of witches, ghosts and other paranormal events and ascesinatos. Besides the beautiful landscapes that are seen in pictures and interesting culture, the distinctive prints, the typical skirts in men, the bagpipes and their songs, etc. I would love to visit the castle of edinburgh, also the loch ness. Also sounds interesting the whisky factories, I could visit them but I am not a fan and the Hogwarts express gives trips so if or if I would get on it.  Scotland usually does not sound in the mouths of others and goes unnoticed ...

My favorite website in my area is "plataforma arquitectura". https://www.plataformaarquitectura.cl/cl It is my favorite because it is one of the places with more projects, it also includes a lot of information about them and the information is reliable, this is important because much of what is on the internet is false. It is useful to me because I can get references, look for inspiration or just study a little more. As a site in itself I don't know it in detail but whenever I google the project or the architect, the first link that appears is this page. It includes photos, plans, writings, etc.  I visit it at least once a week. Another website that I like a lot but it is not so related to my specialty is "pinterest" https://www.pinterest.cl/ I also include it for my training because there are very interesting images to see and use as references. I use this App regularly and I can spend hours and hours.
